Eight or more sessions
These sessions are designed for people who are facing a major transition in their lives. The transition may have arisen from a crisis, an opportunity, or a sense of having outgrown your old life.
For example:
- You have just discovered you are being retrenched;
- Your children have decided to emigrate;
- You know that you are unhappy in your job and want to leave but don't know how to;
- Your marriage has broken up;
- You have fallen pregnant;
- You have been offered a job in another city.
If it is a painful crisis that is precipitating the transition you will probably be in a space of shock or grief. You may need assistance to move through the grieving process before the possibilities and ways forward can begin to emerge. Some people may benefit from therapy if the grief is very severe and I refer those individuals for therapy. For other people, coaching from someone who is also a trained therapist as I am can help you to process the feelings and begin to move into the next phase of the change cycle.
